Discover Wellness Passport within Technogym App
Features
Wellness Passport is a section of Technogym App where you can find a general overview of your measurement data.

If you need to check or enter biometric parameters within Technogym App (such as weight and height) you can do so thanks to the Wellness Passport, a section in the app dedicated to this specific purpose.

To reach Wellness Passport area, all you have to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Access to Technogym App (you can download Technogym App by pressing here!);
  2. Head to the "Activity" section. You can find it from the bottom panel;
  3. Inside Activity, scroll down until you reach the last voice, the one dedicated to the Wellness Passport;
  4. Enter by pressing on the "see more" item.

Within this page, you can find all the parameters you have entered in the app.

You’ll find available both the measurements you inserted when registering on Technogym App, as well as data from other training or health apps.

Keep in mind that the latter can only be viewed if you have given your consent for data sharing. In case you want to revoke it, just access the settings of your smartphone, head to the related app and remove the various permissions.

Adding or modifying data inside Wellness Passport

The Wellness Passport made available by Technogym is not just limited to information about your height, weight or body mass index (BMI) - there's much more.

In fact, you'll also have the ability to view more specific parameters, such as your blood sugar level or cholesterol.

The Wellness Passport page is divided into two distinct areas.

The first area (the top panel) is the one dedicated to Highlights, i.e. a series of values that are listed as favorites.

These highlighted data consists of parameters automatically set by your Technogym Coach, an artificial intelligence created by Technogym to allow you to expand the horizons of your training journey.

Through the Coach you'll be able to create your own Precision Program, a highly specialized program tailored to your every need.

The data set by the Coach will be based on the goal you have decided to include in your program (If you want to know more about the Precision Program, feel free to check this article).

Keep in mind you are still free to enter additional parameters, according to your preferences. To do this, press on "Edit" in the top right corner: you will access a new screen in which there will be a list of the various biometrics that can be inserted into Technogym App.

To insert a new parameter among the highlighted ones, press the white square on the right and select the voice "Apply" at the top - You will now see your new parameter in the Highlights boxes, which you can change by simply sliding your finger left/right.

If you wish to see more details about a single parameter, you can select its relative box to open a new screen.

Through this new screen, you can view your chosen measurement through a graph, which provides you with a convenient monthly/yearly trend to keep track of your progress.

By staying on this page, you'll also have the opportunity to perform additional actions:

  • See all data

Thanks to this panel you can view the history of all the values you have entered in reference to your parameter.

You have the possibility to edit or delete one of the values by pressing the three dots on the right, using the “Edit” or “Delete” options;

  • About …

Through this panel you can access to any information or curiosity related to the parameter you have chosen;

  • Manual input of your panels

You can enter an additional value using the "+" button at the top right of the interface.

After selecting your value, it will be then saved and displayed in the graph related to the chosen parameter.

Please note that you have the possibility to add time and date of your measurement.

The second area of the Wellness Passport is the one representing all the values that can be added and monitored within the Technogym App.

Here is a complete list of the parameters you can enter and monitor:

  • Weight: One of the body's health indicators. When weight is too much above or below normal values, this can lead to health issues;
  • BMI: The body max index is a standardized ratio of weight to height, and is used as a general indicator of health;
  • Body Fat Mass (BFM): It’s the actual weight of the fat present in your body. Body Fat % is the proportion of fat to the total bodyweight;
  • Fat Free Mass (FFM): It’s your total body mass, but without the fat. Fat free mass includes everything from your skin, bones, ligaments and tendons, to your organs and water content;
  • Waist Circumference: It's about measuring your waist circumference.
  • 1RM Pectorals: Measure which represents your max strength capacity on the upper body push movement. It can be defined as the maximum weight you can lift by performing a single repetition properly;
  • 1RM Back: Measure which represents your max strength capacity on the upper body pull movement. It can be defined as the maximum weight you can lift by performing a single repetition properly;
  • 1RM Legs: Measure which represents your max strength capacity on your lower limb. It can be defined as the maximum weight you can lift by performing a single repetition properly;
  • VO2 Max: Refers to the maximum amount of oxygen you can provide to your working muscles during exercise. It’s a parameter used to test the aerobic endurance or cardiovascular fitness;
  • Max HR: It’s the maximum speed one’s heart can achieve measured by the number of contractions per minute (bpm);
  • FTP Cycling: the functional threshold power is an estimate of the workload a cyclist can sustain without having an excessive build-up of lactic acid in the muscles;
  • Glucose: The main sugar that the body makes from the food. Glucose is carried through the bloodstream to provide energy to all cells in the body;
  • Diastolic: The diastolic pressure is specifically the minimum arterial pressure during relaxation and dilation of the ventricles of the heart when the ventricles fill with blood;
  • Systolic: It’s the maximum arterial pressure occurring during the contraction of the left ventricle of the heart. Blood pressure is important because the higher your blood pressure is, the higher your risk of health problems in the future;
  • Total Cholesterol: Represents a measure of all cholesterol molecules in the blood. Having high cholesterol could eventually determine fatty deposits in the blood vessels, making it difficult for the blood to flow through arteries.
